you done it now, this made it to reddit and now the secret for sure is out there. and now we wait for the denials on twitter from crooks etc.
What'll the stadium's nickname be? GAL/Parking Site: The Garage? The El? Harlem River Site: The Yard(s)?
If Harlem River Yards is the site I'm good calling it the Yard. If it's the Gal site I'm calling it The Polo Grounds cause that is really close to where the old Polo Grounds used to be.
Hey Ian Joy did tweet earlier that it’s a BIG BIG week for NYCFC.
TO be fair you can't read much into that, he wants a new stadium as much as we do. That doesn't mean we are getting something this week. But it's good to have smoke.

cnome02 is a legit source. As long as nothing falls through we should be hearing something from the club. If we don’t then hopefully more leaks with substance.
I'm not against it, but the Polo Grounds were across the river in Manhattan a good half-mile away.
that's not far in New York, plus I live really close and used to walk that a lot as a kid. It would be the 5th version of the stadium and the 11th team to call it home.

I agree the distance is minimal. I do wonder whether the river, different borough, and being in Yankeeland make it a non-starter. But again, I'm not fighting it, I even kind of like it, just expressing doubts.
