how did vermes come to his conclusion? did he actually measure? or did he just assume oh this is 68. everyone is taking his word as gospel on this.
also- he doesnt use tape measure because i recall another journalist on twitter saying that press is not allowed to measure field dimensions across MLS

pentagon shape would be interesting, but not practical for a stadium design. the plot of land itself may be developed to be pentagonal? With the main entrance in triangular space not taken up by the stadium. whatever they do - i just hope it's not boring and dull.

I also proved the 70 yard width using a photograph. Haters gonna hate. nothing you can do. Even when we get a new stadium, they will find something new to complain about.
I am just glad the talk will shift back to the Bronx because a stadium in Queens will not be conducive for me.
