Stadium Discussion

I watched it live and the sound quality is tough at different points. Hard to take much out of it but there are concerns from the community. I think they felt burned after new YS. Promises to the community that were made were never delivered. They don't want to make that mistake again.

And cfg should give them everything they want within reason. Definitely no part ownership of the stadium. If they want schools, housing, park space.. give it to them.

There are legit concerns about access to the waterfront, congestion, community use of the stadium. What someone mentioned is that if the Yankees or NYCFC aren't playing, YS is locked up and contributes nothing to the community. They want a soccer stadium to be part of the community, not just some building dropped in because it fits in the space available.

Another interesting thing that was brought up is that the 153rd street garage provides monthly parking for people in the community. The Yankee garages don't. There's concern that if you remove the garage there are fewer parking spots available.
