When is the International Space Station going to fly over NYC?
NY 15th Congressional District (where our potential Bronx stadium would be located) is an open seat as the incumbent is retiring. NY1 is broadcasting the Democratic primary debate at 7 PM.
Is that good or bad?Early results show Ritchie Torres with a lead of 4,000 votes (31.1% to 18.3%).
Is that good or bad?
Yeah, I can't think of any recent examples of a member of Congress killing a NYC real estate development project. That's a good question. I don't think a federal politician (Congress) will have any meaningful decisions on a stadium aside from vocal support/opposition. It may just come down to City politicians and maybe to an extent State politicians.
Anyone with more real estate knowledge have a better idea?
Good point, and AOC was a prominent public face for the opposition, but I believe it was a couple of state senators who took the official steps that convinced Amazon to abandon the project. But certainly a motivated House member can help galvanize local opposition.Yeah, I can't think of any recent examples of a member of Congress killing a NYC real estate development project.
Thanks. Not a surprise, but hopefully a job creating stadium project will be more warmly embraced once we are on the other side.I’m sure we all knew this, but figured I’d share...

“Threw out” meaning not an option or stated those as possible options?New York City FC: Self-imposed stadium dilemma continues
COVID-19 has impacted New York City FC's search for a permanent home. The stadium dilemma persists, but it is one of their own making.mlsmultiplex.com
Ronny says at halftime of Columbus and Minny that NYC will likely not play at YS again this season. Threw out RBA and the training facility as possible options.
I'm sure he meant those were possible options. Probably RBA would be best, they have the TV angles and press amenities, locker rooms, etc.“Threw out” meaning not an option or stated those as possible options?
Stated them as options, I'll edit that to avoid confusion!“Threw out” meaning not an option or stated those as possible options?
Manaus has gotten smacked hard by COVID. Prabably one of the worst places in the world to be right now.I couldn’t care less where they play if fans can’t attend. Stay in Orlando for all I care.
I take that back. Can they play in the old World Cup site in Manaus? That would be cool as hell.
Play at YS again this season? We never did play at YS this season.New York City FC: Self-imposed stadium dilemma continues

I'm sure it doesn't have the setup for decent broadcasting.Play at rba. No issue with that.
but don’t understand why they wouldn’t use the training site. Remember they told us it was world class

Yea it may not look fancy, but MLS paid TONS of money for each of their Orlando "studio" fields. Playing at RBA would probably be much cheaper and look better.I'm sure it doesn't have the setup for decent broadcasting.
