Oh, that guy. That explains it all.The petition was being passed around at YT by Andy Bajana who is just a supporter. It’s nothing official from the club or from a borough official

Spend 3 minutes on his Twitter profile. Here is one where he is going through the homeless spiel on the subway and for some reason tags Joe Biden and Andrew Cuomo?go on
I like how he is both unfunny and mocking homeless people at the same time!Spend 3 minutes on his Twitter profile. Here is one where he is going through the homeless spiel on the subway and for some reason tags Joe Biden and Andrew Cuomo?
At the ULI TAP meeting he said that he likes going to games because "it's a great place to go and get drunk with my friends".
I mentioned above I intentionally left out the date of the discussion regarding the parking lot lease. This is largely the biggest reason why.
Watching the Democratic primary debate for mayor on NY1, if Maya Wiley is elected I don't think we get a stadium during her administration.
Yang, McGuire, Adams I think are the most stadium friendly.
Yeah this tactic is really lame.I like how he is both unfunny and mocking homeless people at the same time!
Meet Your Mayor: Borough Edition
See which candidates for NYC mayor agree with you most on borough issues.projects.thecity.nyc
Guess who I will be voting for?
Nah, he's an empty suit. All talk and no action.Fixed it for you!

Plus, the Sheikh doesn't need public subsidies.
I think for the CFG ownership, the discussion isn't about whether or not there will be subsidies -- there definitely will, but they'll be going in the opposite direction we usually think of, i.e. $$$ flowing to community group programs. And I think, given their PR machine, CFG will be OK with that if it gets them the green light. The deal on the table does not involve subsidies. It just requires an honest mayor and a functional city government. We will see if those requirements are "unreasonable" in NYC.
DeB's take is that the Yankees and garage owners got a sweetheart deal from Bloomberg, and DeB demanded that the city be made whole on the garage bond losses and that the Yankees give back even more as a prerequisite to discussing a soccer stadium. So nothing happened. He could have gotten something, but he demanded everything and received 0.Anyone got the TLDR on DeBlasio's viewpoint?
What a moron. He was never going to get that. Take the losses and move on.DeB's take is that the Yankees and garage owners got a sweetheart deal from Bloomberg, and DeB demanded that the city be made whole on the garage bond losses and that the Yankees give back even more as a prerequisite to discussing a soccer stadium. Vote coming from the board next month. Need to give it all a re-listen and will fill in any additional details as needed. A few other details:
- Maddd is paying approx $50m to bondholders in order to split the lease.
- Bronx Borough vote comes after CB4 vote, and then mayoral authorization of the vote.
- No potential land use items are being discussed as part of the vote to split the lease. Maddd and EDC were clear they would meet with CB4 afterwards to discuss potential developments.
