They have to pay a fee for anything they play. They pay performance rights licenses which are basically flat fees. So El Alfa New York Groove and Blitzkrieg Bop are covered under flat payments to their respective societies. Also it’s based on the venue not the team so these fees are undoubtedly covered by the Mets and the Yankees as part of the rental, which have to pay all the societies to cover walk up music alone.
