This photo gives a good look at the gap between away supporters and home:
So close enough to easily throw stuff as evidenced yesterday.... Shitty supporters that partook, but horrible logistics by the club. You'd never see that adjacency in European or South American stadiums. This photo gives a good look at the gap between away supporters and home:
Yes, and especially easy to throw from the higher Away section. So close enough to easily throw stuff as evidenced yesterday.... Shitty supporters that partook, but horrible logistics by the club. You'd never see that adjacency in European or South American stadiums.
I have no idea why security let the verbal sparring go as long as they did.
This.
When you come visit, we will make sure to show you that there are plenty of us good guys and gals out there. First round is on me.
Im with rox 100%, i was one section over about 7 rows back and the verbal assault from the philly fans behind us did not stop one bit.
All the usual fuck new york stuff, they suck, their city sucks, the mets suck, the islandrs suck, the giants suck, etc etc etc all laced with with cursing of course (again unions rules to use foul language - i heard them tell our section to stop but there fans....)
What was unbelievable though was the racial slurs about our Spanish chants and members and threats to beat nycfc fans on they way back to the bus and their cars. I am 100% sure that their "security" heard all of this multiple times and did nothing. They seemed to have no interest in saying anything to union fans and beside a middle-aged woman in a light blue security polo (seems to be the lead one) the rest of security in yellow did nothing at all, let the arguing slowly build until it exploded which they then instantly lost control of the situation.
A HUGE shout out here to Rox who was shirtless right at the center of it trying to calm down the situation and keep the fans separate and protect our guys. I put the blame for this 100% on their security, they did nothing but stand there and failed to recognize what was happening.
From what I experienced I buy everything you're saying, but I'm not letting our guys off the hook till someone explains the drum. My hope is sons of Ben let us borrow it or something and the wrong person grabbed it. But I suspect that's widly optimistic.

That time you proudly post pictures of your exploits and cover your face so nobody can recognize you.Guess we know who some of the antagonists on our end were.

This is just unbelievably tragic. Absolute clowns. They just don't get it.
Nice point, and it's potentially even worse. Larceny is taking someone's property and if the item is small enough like a scarf probably a misdemeanor. And just to reiterate, the next time some jackass reflexively belches out, "Supporters, not criminals!" we can remind them that this is larceny and is a misdemeanor.
Pretty sure as a Quaker/Puritan State, Penns' laws are equal to or more stringent than New York's.Nice point, and it's potentially even worse. Larceny is taking someone's property and if the item is small enough like a scarf probably a misdemeanor.
But robbery is forcibly taking someone else's property, and even the least form of it is a felony in NY. So if that scarf was left draped over an empty chair and taken, that's larceny. But if it was around someone's neck or in their hands and you grab it off of them, you just committed a Class D felony in NY. I expect the Pennsylvania law is similar.
It's divided for a few reasons. Brown Bag/NYC12 is a group of guys that hang out and drink together so obviously they wanted to do their own thing. Hearts of Oak is similar. No worries, I know, you always gonna get some fans who have to spoil it but honestly I wouldnt call them fans at all, they just hooligans, would love to sit in the SS but as I'm with my missus I most likely gonna sit in the main stands or take up those VIP seats (If I can save up for those) but I'm more than happy to come say hello to everyone and that
Can I ask someone for a honest opinion for why their is a divide within the supporters factions (ie why they don't get on) and a honest opinion on Third Rail and Los Templados, it better if you inbox me as then it doesn't cause a dispute on here with opinions and that

Third Rail was the original group that was essentially for everyone but a few people didn't like it because of lack of transparency with the financial aspects of the first TR board, the new one has done a great job at fixing those issues and being very transparent but the damage was done.
People saw the TR as too corporate and too connected to NYCFC, it doesn't help that several of those members went on to work for MLS or the club.
Add to it the fact that some people though TR was "too casual" and you have the "unofficial supporters" like NYC SG, Hooligans and Templados who's sole act is to be "hardcore supporters"
They're smaller than the three I mentioned earlier but seem to be the ones who take support too far and cross the line to violence.

Thank you. This means a lot to me because I fight so fucking hard for SUPPORTERS and people shit on me every chance they get. It's a much needed ray of sunshine today.
