As long as Berhalter is at the helm I’m not to confident in that lolIn regard to style of play and skill/quality of individual players, yes. I suppose the next qualifying cycle will determine that for sure.

In the game against Algeria we could barely keep possession. Lots of hoofing it up front and playing an overly forward, athletic playing style. Not a lot of great touches, not many successful passes, nothing really of note from a skill perspective. As long as Berhalter is at the helm I’m not to confident in that lol
Little to no faith until the old guard is gone. Jozy and Bradley should have passed the torch years ago. Zardes doesn’t belong on the international team.As long as Berhalter is at the helm I’m not to confident in that lol
But the issue is there is nobody behind the older generation who is any good. The 21 and under crowd is potentially terrific, but they are just reaching the point where they can play.Little to no faith until the old guard is gone. McKennie should be ready for the Bradley role. Sargeant isn't ready to take over for Altidore and Zardes should not be a part of the USMNT anymore. In a couple years I hope that Sebastian Soto could take over for the striker role but we've been burned so many times by promising young players that I'm not getting my hopes up.But the issue is there is nobody behind the older generation who is any good. There’s no logic in playing players today that won’t be able to play in the next World Cup. Those guys are old and washed up. Play the young kids getting minutes in Europe and at home. Reyna should be in our lineup. Sands even. What are we waiting for?But the issue is there is nobody behind the older generation who is any good. Well, Reyna was getting called up if we had played in March. There’s no logic in playing players today that won’t be able to play in the next World Cup. Those guys are old and washed up. You think Pirlo seeing the game in the US had any role in him signing Mckennie?
Aron Johannsson scores his 6th goal in 7 games.
Anyone care to guess the identity of the center back he beat to the cross?
Reyna - 17 - almost starter at DortmundAnd all this time, I thought Bayern would get Dest, and he'd be the first American to appear for Bayern since Donovan.
Amazing what we are looking at right now.
Pulisic - 22 - Starter at Chelsea
McKennie - 22 - Potential Starter at Juventus
Adams - 21- Starter at Leipzig
Richards - 20 - First team at Bayern
de la Fuente - 19 - Preseason appearances at Barcelona
Dest - 19- Being pursued by both Bayern and Barcelona
I knew I was going to forget someoneReyna - 17 - almost starter at Dortmund
Fixed it for you.Reyna - 17 -almoststarter at Dortmund
Also banged in his first league goal. Amazing nutmeg finish from a tight angle.
Yeah, with Zardes and Will Trapp in the starting 11...Shit man, we better be smashing Mexico apart in the next qualifier game against them.
