Did a search and couldn’t find anything posted about it. Did anything come of this? I’m on Twitter every day and this is the first time I’ve seen anything.
This has been a lingering issue over the clubs supporters since day 1. Maybe now that someone like Shaun has shed light on it the club might do something.
And I’m not trying to generalize here. But it’s been known since day 1 that we’ve had groups like this
I thought about posting that Shaun King tweet in the NYCFC in the Media Thread. But thought let's not get political here (except for stadium politics). I saw this on r/MLS and it was locked within 3 minutes.
You can't ban people from Yankee Stadium based on their views unless they are known to pose a threat to others in the stands (based on violence or imagery). It's a complex issue. There's no universal fix (people can sneak it, security guards miss things, etc). And it requires a lot of work to get it done right.

They are going to get locked away but the community/fan base is also going to have to start policing itself to some extent, and report these people and the club is going to have to act and dropping bans.
The club is also going to have to come out with a statement as well as the supportors gourps, cause they where on supportors buses when they got picked up by the cops.

Man, forget the front office, WE shouldn't allow this bullshit. People know who they are but they're still making it on to supporter buses? Something is wrong here.

Funny part to me is how theyre calling them violent white supremacists but the only alleged NYCFC supporter involved is Hispanic.

There are a fair amount of non-white Proud Boys. The whole thing is super fucked up.
1) I’m a founding member and have never heard of this
2) The Club can absolutely ban people from the games
3) The supporters groups need to either police themselves immediately or groups should no longer be recognized by the club

Clearly the issue runs deep in the supporters group and NYCSC has got to go. If NYCFC fails to act I refuse to buy another item of merchendise.
