I would say Mix, Poku, Khiry, Mullins and George John who when he is healthy could start on the USMNT.

Mix and Poku are at the top of my pecking order. Then everyone else.
Absolutely. Mix is the key, Poku not far from it. The next level is Mullins, with Khiry being a notch below him, yet having the potential to move into the Mix/Poku group.
If Facey stays, I would put him with Khiry, caveats and all.
When I think of "core", I think about who really carries the banner of the team, regardless of the cast around them. From that perspective, Mix and Poku are the most irreplaceable players we have right now.
ETA: Great thread topic, btw.
Problem is we don't know is George John will every be healthy again. He's too much of a question mark. The rest I completely agree with.
