I think if Tefu signs he starts he's been practicing with the team for 2 weeks. He may have already signed we know NYCFC really love to announce things right when they happen.

Can you imagine what Pirlo will think when he gets here next week and is practicing against the likes of Brovsky, Allen, KWS?

Was just going to post this here. You have to think that Agudelo is going to come on for Jozy, although Jordan Morris is a possibility (they are the only two forwards available). I suppose it is possible that Jurgen will move Zardes up top and replace with a midfielder but I doubt it. (And bringing in an extra midfielder means Lee Nguyen is a possible call up).

As for Jozy being worse than Nemec, this is way too harsh and really ignores Altidore's career to date. He definitely struggled in the tournament, but he did have some good moments and was hardly match fit after the hamstring injury.

Pretty sure morris had surgery recently and was out like 3-4 weeks

Replacement players must be announced within 24 hours of completion of the final group stage match. We would have to hear by 1130pm tonight

I forgot to buy my bus ticket and the eventbrite sale ended so I'm looking for 2 bus tickets I don't necessarily need match tickets because I can buy them from NE box office but if you have 2 of them as well ill gladly take them off your hands thanks a lot guys.

Not sure if everyone is aware of it, but the Revs have really been struggling recently...
Last 6 games in all competitions = 6 losses.

6/17 - Loss 1-0 vs. Charlotte Independence
6/21 - Loss 2-1 at DC United
6/24 - Loss 2-1 at Columbus Crew
6/27 - Loss 2-1 vs. Vancouver Whitecaps
7/4 - Loss 3-0 at FC Dallas
7/11 - Loss 4-1 at New Jersey

Outscored 14-4 during that losing streak.

Burning questions:

1. Will Villa play on turf?
2. If Lampard and Villa are no-go, what can our lineup be like?
3. Who's going to partner with Facey if Hernandez is not fit still? I guess the weak Wingert is still a better option than Lord KWS.

The lineup without #7 & #8:
Mullins, Poku
McNamara, Ballouchy, Jacobson, Grabavoy
Angelino, Facey, Wingert, Iraola
Saunders

The Gold Cup roster changes have been announced and neither Agudelo nor Nguyen have been called up. Mix is still with the USMNT as well.

The guy who was picked to replace Altidore was Alan Gordon, who I forgot was even on the preliminary roster.

I feel like Villa plays. He seems super competitive and is clearly focused on making something of this season. I would be shocked if he sits. What about Angelino? Since the world of soccer seems to have some kind of strange hang up with turf, any reason to think MCFC might have issues with him playing on turf?

I really dont understand this turf thing. It's not like you see Seattle players going down left and right with turf related injuries. Its an NFL stadium, I'm sure its some of the highest end turf in the world. We are not talking about some $hit 1980s turf like the f.cosmos play on at Hofstra. Don't the European teams have indoor training facilities with turf? I feel like I recall one of the Villa vs. Aguero videos from MCFC being indoors on a turf training field? If so it's not like these guys have never stepped foot on turf fields.
