If Parks starts, I wonder if that means Ring will revert back to just being our Defensive destroyer or not. Dome seemed to enjoy letting Ring run free box-to-box, and focus less on defensive duties (vs. how Vieira employed him as a pure defensive mid). If Dome changes and Ring is just going to set an anchor down in front of our CBs, I think Keaton will do well for us and allow him to play to his strengths (offensive passing and runs). However, if Ring is still tasked with going forward and Keaton has to stay back and defend similar to Herrera, I see your statement coming true.
He thinks he’s disgruntled. Personally, i haven’t been gruntled with his play since late April last year.

I believe I read DV has a net worth around $50M, and that was before his far-east tour, so he’s got the funds to do the team on his own (not the stadium) if he wants to. I’d still assume he’s got partners (for the team and stadium), and maybe it’s CFG, but that’s not a given nor alluded to anywhere in the media. It could be anybody else with deep pockets, and hopefully it is another person/entity to limit what CFG does in the city since the branding for NYCFC has been so original.
