NYCFC heads up to Gillette Stadium to face the New England Revolution with their perfect record on the line to start the season. Can NYCFC win a fourth straight game for only the second time in club history (June 2017)?

Alex Ring, Rodney Wallace, and Ronald Matarrita will be out for international duty. David Villa, Anton Tinnerholm, and Jo Inge Berget missed the past game due to injury or illness. Will they be back? How will Vieira field the 18? Questions to be asked before this match.

Really happy with Maxi's contributions on the defensive side of the ball. It's been a nice surprise this year. He keeps finding himself in passing lanes and picking up loose balls. I hope it continues while we are missing Ring.

So they acted like Tinnerholm and Villa were minor injuries and just barely missed the game, but do they hold them out since we are playing on turf?

As bad as New England was/is, their home form has usually always been good, so this could be a good test for us.

Any of you going to the game?

I was just about to post this. If Villanova wins Friday night, I'm headed up Saturday morning. Thought about hitting this game if that's the case.

The issue is that Gillette is such a cluster to get to. It's brutal.

Why only if Nova wins?

Edit: I just saw their regional is in Boston, so assuming you would catch the regional final on Sunday then?

Yea Gillette is always a mess. But I am going with supporters group in a bus, so I dont have to worry about getting there. If you make it, let me know

Bingo. Hustle to get back to New York from philly for Friday night's game. If they win, throw my son in the car seat and drive up Saturday am. My wife and daughter get screwed on this plan

New England will be without Krisztian Nemeth who was called up for international duty. Though he's only come off the bench once for 20 minutes (in their last match against Colorado), so its not a particularly big loss for them.

It’s a Revs match not a Pats game. There will be almost no traffic and free parking right next to the Stadium. That’s not Hive’s definition of brutal.
