There's a fair amount of parity in the league. Any team making a costly mistake can fall behind and then lose because the other team holds on and doesn't make that mistake. There's an element of luck too but mental focus and preparation are critical.

That Philadelphia/RSL penalty that equalized the game was ridiculous but then again, two of Philly's goals were like both of Orlando's goals this season: pure luck.

Therefore, the result was probably fair and Philly is in our conference so f*$# 'em.

Yeah, for sure, I just throw that in as part of the luck category, as refs are human and can have a bad day. I was surprised, however, that Alan Kelly was not assigned for Week 2 (perhaps he had a personal matter). Alan has been one of the better referees I have seen and I hope he gets an assignment for Week 3.
