2019 Schedule Thread

The Yankees won’t allow anyone to touch the field as long as they’re in the playoffs, regardless of whether theres enough time to convert or not.
The field will therefore only be available after the World Series. As long as they cancel the college football game, we could use it for MLS Cup. Nothing before.

Unless the Yankees get eliminated. Which is certainly possible, especially in the ALCS.

- If the Yankees are eliminated prior to the American League Championship Series or if they are eliminated in the ALCS after five games or less, then NYCFC will play the Eastern Conference semifinal at Yankee Stadium.

- If the Yankees reach the ALCS and it goes at least six games, or if they reach the World Series, then NYCFC will play its Eastern Conference semi at Citi Field.

- If NYCFC reaches the Eastern Conference final, then it will play that match at Yankee Stadium unless the Yankees reach the World Series. In that case, the Cityzens would play the conference final at Citi Field.

Frankly, Houston is a better team and the favorite to win the World Series, so even at full strength and after 103 wins, the Yankees are still underdogs. Anything can happen in the playoffs, their postseason is just as unpredictable as ours is, but the Yankees are definitely not the favorite to make it out of the ALCS.

This doesn't seem bad at all and is quite logical. The Club will wait as long as they can to see if Yankee Stadium is available, and they have secured a great backup venue in the event that we need it. Very happy with this.

The one caveat is that they still haven't said a thing about the MLS Cup.

They don’t have a plan yet in place for MLS Cup, and are hoping they don’t have to unveil a shitty backup like Connecticut or RBA unless they absolutely have to

Here is some additional detail for us to chew on.

The Club has split up Citi Field according to pricing levels, so the location of your tickets in Yankee Stadium will determine where you get seats in Citi Field - assuming that you use your City Member account to buy the tickets. See the maps below.

I sit endline preferred, first row, on the aisle. I better get the same first row seats at Citi

Looks like they might have the Legends seats getting the first few rows on that end.

It's not going to be perfect, but there are real questions as to how they're going to allocate within each section. Can't be easy, and I wonder if it will just be random or first come first served.

ETA - I see what you mean by Endline Preferred, which is what I meant by Legends. I got my terminology wrong. You are going to be down low.

Thanks for the seating charts Gotham Gator Gotham Gator !! My ST are in 214A row 7. Love how close it is to the field. It seems my similar seats at Citi will be much further away from the field although at the similar viewing angle......... Not entirely enthused but what can you do?

I bet once they see who/how many opt in they can then see within each section if they can allocate fairly with similar seating. I would think that most STH would be opting in though making it problematic.

Right. I do think they are doing their best with a bad situation. Certainly you can always switch zones, but whether there is a way to do that and retain your member pricing is another question.

I am in 205 - sideline mezzanine. They've got us stretched across the 3rd deck - so higher up, but potentially central, which would be great.
