Meanwhile at YS: 15 dollar burgers and 18 dollar waffle cones.

I figured out actually where the cheapest eats in YS can be found and it's the hot dog stand behind the third baseline.

Cash only and its 5.50 for a hot dog.

Someone should do a breakdown of the food costs at the stadium.

Try having a son with Celiac Disease and navigating the costs of Yankee Stadium.

Is that the kosher stand?

Damn, what is there even for him to eat there? Bacon on a stick?

Lol that is actually an option for him.

Yankees do a great job of providing gluten free options. There was (still is I hope?) a gluten fre grill near the great hall.

But it’s expensive. If you have celiac disease or know someone that does (or even people that choose to live GF) you know that it’s an expensive proposition. But it’s even more expensive at a ballgame.

My GF is also gluten free bc of allergies. And my daughter nut free. And we're all Kosher. I just bring in my own food. It's cheaper and better quality.

That’s the trifecta

Oof.

Not sure. It looks like a cart you'd see on the street. It's tucked behind the Corona beer stand next to the First Aid/Medical office.

Yup, that's it. There's one on the 1st base line too. Who would have ever thought Kosher is cheaper??? Go figure.

Yeah it's insane actually how skewed it is but they get away with it. Also the amount of food waste must be criminal.
Yeah. Well, relative to the rest of YS they're cheap. Really, they're expensive as hell.
Where I work now, after a day ends, I take all the leftover food and give it to my friends because otherwise the company throws out all the non-salvagable food, and I think it's ridiculous, so I take it all. I wonder if they do the same?

I would hope some of the staff at least gets to take stuff home.

I'm technically not allowed, b ut since I'm a student worker and I make max 80/week right now I don't give a fuck if they fire me or not, and the management really likes me, so once they saw me taking bags of food and stopped me and I said "look, you can either throw all this food away which is awful.... or I can take it, give it to people I know who can't afford to eat, and you get promotion for the restaurant as well, which is better than throwing it out."
Sure enough, they let me take it
