Last year the same email was sent April 14, so exactly the same. In 2019 (for the 2020 season) it was in August. In between I dropped my tickets.

Found it in my Spam as well. But after seeing all the posts above, wondered when my rep would get around to emailing me which seems to be his general timeline for our communication....

Is anyone a season ticket holder in the supporter section? I’m curious what section your ticket says for the Citi Field games. Mine says section 106. Are they all like that or are we assigned a section and get GA in that section? Asking because I have some friends that want to come to the derby on the 18th and we’re unsure if they can get any supporter section ticket or strictly the section I’m in. Citi Field can be sticklers on where you sit and I’m sure they’ll really be cracking down for the derby.

Never had an issue except for one usher last year during the Leagues Cup. Went to sit in 101/102 and the usher said I had to sit in 106 because that's what my ticket said and I can't sit in 101/102 "because everyone would want to sit behind the goal". *eye roll*
I was just wondering if anyone else is confused so I thought we would pay as you go for Leagues Cup if we were the home team but we are the “away team” for the game on Tuesday. Should I just assume if we are hosting we are the the home team.

Hosting is based on seed unless it is a Mexican team and an MLS team in which case the MLS team hosts. There is, as I recall, an exception for seeded Club America, but they are on the other side of the bracket so it won't really be an issue for NYCFC.
Based on the remaining teams, I doubt NYCFC hosts another game unless they beat Tigres and Miami/Columbus then face Cruz Azul.
For scheduling just on baseball alone, if both teams make the World Series, the earliest the stadiums would be available are October 29 (Game 4, so October 31; 72 hours later) and latest would be November 2 (Game 7, so November 4; 72 hours later).
Round One falls between Friday, October 25 through Sunday, November 10th.
NLCS Game 7 is on October 21, while the ALCS Game 7 is on October 22.
I do realize there are other potential conflicts besides baseball, but playoff baseball is unique in that there is no compromise and no way NYCFC can buy someone off, as I think they did with golf once.
Also there's very low probability of having a home game after Round One of MLS playoffs.
So while I think the odds also are against a Subway Series it's enough of a concern to give me pause.
I don't hate playing at RBA in principle, and the record as a home team there is actually better than YS or Citi. It's just the damn travel

Yeah and it was 40 minutes between PATH trains on Sunday. 40 MINUTES. That's insane.
The most likely scenario is that we are the lower seed in the first round, which means hosting the 2nd game. If Round One can go all the way to Nov 10, I guess I can foresee the possibility of our hosting a game 72 hours after the end of the World Series, even if that is Nov 2. Problem is that you don't know when the end of the World Series is until it happens - you don't know if there's a Game 7 until the end of Game 6, and there is always the possibility of a rainout or some other problem.
Yesterday was my first time at RBA and once I was in my seats I enjoyed the cosy confines of a SSS. Before this I’ve only gone to the Union away game and stadiums in Europe. I felt like it really contained the sound and if we were full and had drums there would be a tremendous home field advantage.
That being said. I’m not sure I’ve ever had a worse experience trying to get to or from a stadium. I drove because of the train situation and I’m up in Westchester. Traffic was miserable to get to Harrison and the cops inability to manage the backups in Harrison made it impossible to get over there. Are they not used to crowd sizes that large (sarcasm and not so veiled shot at the RB)? And then getting out meant that I left home at 2:15 to get on line to get inside at 4pm and then didn’t get back home till 8:15. The new stadium can’t come fast enough.
Neither the PATH station, PATH service, nor surface streets can handle game day traffic, and the pain seems to scale exponentially with larger crowds.
