MLS Week 2 - 2018

Really like what I saw of RBNJ tonight. Youth and hard work and some moments of creativity stemming from both.

Kaku looked a real talent.

And since we probably won’t get to go against Collin, I’m already sweating them.

Zardes has three goals on the year, and all of them were on his first touch. He hasn't had to settle the ball yet.

2 Goals. 1 Penalty. We haven't seen his first touch attacking toward goal and not shooting. Lead boot may still be there. So we don't know if he's back to being a complete player or just a poacher.

Finley scores his second for Minnesota and go up 2-1 vs. Orlando in the 80'. Jason Kreis subs in RJ Allen in the 82'.

Jesus Kreis, lol.
I watched the game and I don’t think RJ touched the ball when he came on.
Honestly though Orlando looked very dangerous attacking. They just lack finishing. Should of tied it up or even taken the lead with the pressure they were putting on in the last half hour.

Can Bob Bradley achieve with LAFC, what he did with Chicago and win it all in his first season.?

It will be tough, but they look legit straight out of the gate.

I also wonder if they will do to the Galaxy, what NYCFC did to the Red Bulls, take over the city of LA.

Zardes doesn't need a first touch in Berhalter's system. All he needs to do is be fast and tap it in, and he's damn good at doing so.
What is truly amazing about Berhalter’s system is that in the last year, he has traded out 3 of the 4 front attackers, and those three were not bad players (Kamara, Meram, Finley), and his offense is even better with less time to gel. Granted, the 4th guy that remained is all-star quality, but that was a seriously effective retooling.

His movement has always been very good, and he's got wheels as well. If all he needs to do is get on the end of something, that should work out for him. And I know its way early, but so far it is.
