I ordered orange #2. Any idea how it is different from orange #1 other than the collar (it's lower)?

Seems like the AEROREADY is the main difference.

The "All-Weather Full-Zip Jacket" doesn't have a hood. Therefore, how it is all weather if it's raining on top of your head?

When you get it, let us know if yours always has "Aeroready" on it.

Probably the material. I'm going to assume the more expensive one has a thicker/warmer material used in the cooler/colder months to retain heat. The option with the lesser price is probably a more breathable material, for use in warmer months/temperatures just before it's t-shirt/sleeveless season. Same design for two different (albeit probably close) temperature ranges? More expensive for 35-50 degrees, less expensive for 50-65 degrees?
