2015 Mls Season Attendance Thread

That's awesome. Here's the breakdown:

D @ORL - 62,510 (avg 35,770)
D @COL - 17,692 (avg 15,122)
L @PHI - 18,603 (avg 17,421)
L @CHI - 19,124 (avg 16,126)
L @NYR - 25,217 (avg 19,219)
L @RSL - 20,801 (avg 19,919)
W @PHI - 18,517 (avg 17,421)
W @TOR - 30,029 (avg 27,941)

So we have the Orlando opener skewing things a little, but overall you can see that we have 100% been a draw everywhere we went. I have to think it only gets better with Lampard and Pirlo on the field.

Are there any stats that take NYCFC attendance out of the total number?

This weeks figures could have been much better if it wasnt for some nasty weather on the east coast on saturday.

How did Philadelphia have 17K for that game, it was pouring and when watching some parts on MLS live there was nobody in the seats. Did everyone show up to the game, scan in their ticket, and huddle inside? And yes, Portland should get a new stadium but they have the same problem that we do, no land to build. They will be expanding their current one.

It's the number of tickets sold, not number of butts in the seats.

Expanding the current stadium (significantly) would work too. I just wasn't sure they had the space to do it. Either way, they can clearly fill a much bigger venue.

Impressed with LA this weekend. They should be able to do that week in and week out.

It helps when you have scored 10 goals in your previous 2 home games, now 14 in 3.

San Jose are the next lambs to the slaughter, so you would think it's will be another full house, even though they got less than 20,000 for the corresponding game last season..
