will we be getting a new away kit this year as well ?
that little flag detail is great, i will get this jersey......at the end of season sale cuz i aint paying 100 bucks for one.
No, kits are updated every two years. So this new kit will be in place for 2017 and 2018. We'll get a new away kit in 2018 for that year and 2019.
It begs the question: Don't most teams [globally] get new home and away kits every year? Is the reason for MLS going every other year a supply-demand thing? Maybe it could be used as a barometer for confidence in consumers buying two kits a year as opposed to just one.

but.. we went from the black away kit (2016) to the hypnokit (2017)
They want to release one new kit every year, so after a team's first year one of their inaugural kits gets retired after one season only. After that it's 2 years for each kit, alternating.
Classy as hell.
Based on all the leaks/releases, MLS is going with very simple designs this year.

That was the trend last year as well...and then our hypnokit and colombus kit were released the same day lol.
I agree that this kit is sharp.
That Chicago one is bad.In case you missed it:
It doesn't look solid blue. Maybe that's due to the rendering or the computer screen. But it's not the same shade of blue from previously.
