Being happy for him and questioning why he’s made the roster are not mutually exclusiveLet’s just be happy for him. It’s a wonderful achievement.

Also Garza and Castillo. Maybe Morrow as well. At least last year’s form Morrow
Oh, there is no depth at LB for the USMNT. I can't even think of a American MLS player that should be called up in place in Sweat.
And I can't even think of any star youth players in our academy or USYNT that are rising up soon...
For some reason I thought Garza was back.Garza is injured. Castillo is 31.
George Bello.
For some reason I thought Garza was back.
I don't think Castillo being 31 should be the reason to not bring him in over a 27 year old Sweat. Castillo and Price are the only good things that the Rapids have going on this season.

I think "attack" is a strong term to describe what I see as critiquing here, but why must we have some kind of buffer for that? Can we just wait a day maybe before we attack the guy?
His selection can be for a number of reasons, so it’s hard to say if he “deserves” to be there or not.I think "attack" is a strong term to describe what I see as critiquing here, but why must we have some kind of buffer for that?
If I don't think Sweat should be called up to the USMNT, I will say it. He doesn't deserve to be there.
That said, hope he makes the most of it and performs well.
Days like this I wish Midas Mulligan was posting. I can’t imagine what he’s going through.
Good for him. (I'm assuming this mean's he's been called up to the Peru National Team)
