David Villa’s condition has been upgraded to questionable ahead of NYCFC’s second road game of 2018.
The 36-year old missed the 2-0 victory over Orlando City SC last weekend but hasn’t been officially ruled out for this short trip to take on the New England Revolution.
(Questionable is better than doubtful but not still good as probable. I don't see him playing.)
Elsewhere, Ronald Matarrita is definitely out with the hamstring injury he sustained on Saturday but it’s considered currently too early to give a clear timeline on his return date.
(He hasn't gotten an X-Ray and MRI yet? What the hell are they waiting for?)
Jo Inge Berget and Anton Tinnerholm are both passed fit for the game after missing the Orlando win, while Alex Ring and Rodney Wallace are away with their nations for international friendlies.
(They also passed their fitness tests the day before the game last week too, let's see if they pass them tomorrow.)
For the hosts, Isaac Angking is out, according to MLSSoccer.com, while Zachary Heivaux and Gabriel Somi will be gametime decisions.
