I wouldn't put much weight into MLS Soccer dot Com reporting anything regarding transfer news.

They typically just rehash other reports that are out there without doing any confirmation on their own. Here are just a couple I found by googling "mlssoccer.com" + [insert soccer player name]. None of these came close to fruition at all.

And I don't mean to say that this transfer can't or won't happen. Obviously some do come through. All I'm saying, is don't put credence in a report on the league website. Until they show anything on there that isn't just rehashing other reports, it's not saying much.

i hear you. that's why i asked if maybe MLS is just slow to this news.

they like to do this rehash and drum up hype in any way related to MLS.
