MLS Cup broadcast just had such a misleading stat when they said the Red Bulls are the first team in MLS history to win 3 postseason road games in a single season.
I understand our wins in New England and Portland were officially ties decided in PKs, but the idea that those don't count as wins in a playoff system is so misleading.

I distinctly remember that MLS Cup BTS video where Chanot, right before kickoff, told the team how it's a Cup Final away, the first 20 minutes would be rough. It played out that way tonight, but Galaxy let off the gas too much at 2-0.

No bad taste here. Respect them and love their roster build. This is how to build an MLS roster and winning MLS Cup would bring validation to that.
A surprisingly entertaining game, especially considering the Red Bulls' involvement.
Judging by how they defended that corner kick in the first half, I'm not so sure.
