2025 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs

This Miami team is such a tough watch for a neutral. So much flopping, entitlement, and lack of respect for their opponents. That said, they are unquestionably a better, more complete team than last year and I do not want to face them if we beat Philly.

Reddit post worth reading from a self-identified academic economist (almost every Reddit ID is pseudonymous so you can never verify). His theory is linear TV has been in a steady decline for years and the carriage dispute between Disney/ESPN and Google/YTTV might be an inflection point that accelerates the trend. It's not an original idea but the analysis is more meaty than average.

San Diego running roughshod over Portland with 10 minutes left. We are the lowest-seeded team remaining and will play every game on the road as long as we remain in the playoffs.

Sounds like a rocky underdog story to me... And look where we go next...

Without trying, I have come across complaints about date or time scheduling (mostly time) for every semifinal except Vancouver/LAFC.

Ours actually makes sense -- the Eagles play the Cowboys at 4:30 on Sunday, so this actually makes sense if you want to try to have some of those fans flip to FS1 for the Union afterwards.

It's a shame traveling fans have to drive home so late, but c'est la vie.

Today would have been a perfect day for some MLS playoffs in the afternoon and evening, but here we are with only one match at 9:30 p.m.

Agreed, no idea why Minn vs SD couldn't have been some time today before the 9:30 match. 10pm on Monday is terrible.
