We'll be making the trip out to Utah for the next game.

Game Time 10:00 PM
On YES For a change.

Will be without RJ Allen due to Red Card Received v Chicago

Well shit. Whatever will we do without Coach Allen? Not sure I can handle only half the embarrassment. Hope we get vintage Brosky so I know how to handle things.

What would you like the back line to look like for this one?

I think Hernandez gets a bad rap by association, but in my opinion he's been pretty sound on all his duties. Calle also showed some promise in his minutes at left back, really hoping he returns from injury sooner or later.

Unfortunately, Wingert, Brovsky, Williams, Facey, and Allen (suspended anyway), have all shown us they aren't starting quality. I personally think KWS has looked at least backup quality and would like to see him get a little more time.

I want Calle-Hernandez-KWS-Brovsky, but the latter two spots are going to suffer no matter what.

I think we should play 3 at the back: Hernandez, Facey, Wingert.

Eschewing that, I'd put Facey at RB and Calle at LB.

Oh my, that 3-man back line would get eaten for lunch.

Jacobson plays like a third centerback, which is probably part of the reason Kreis is so willing to put an offensive guy like Calle at fullback.

You could draw up our formation like this (I've plugged in who I want to start) and not be wrong some games:

Code:
---------------Villa--------Nemec---------------
------------------------------------------------
--------McNamara-----------------Alvarez--------
------------------------------------------------
----------------------Mix-----------------------
---Calle--------------------------------Facey---
--------------------Jacobson--------------------
-------Hernandez----------------W.Siriboe-------

I'm not sure Calle is ready yet, and does Kreis trust Facey to start? Its possible that you have Wingert on left, Brovsky on right and Hernandez and Watson in the middle. I'm thinking if there was ever a time to use the RSL roots of this team, it would be this one.

Good thing for NYCFC will be RSL will be without their star winger Jordan Allen who will be out for U21 World Cup. However they might have Jaoa Plata back.

Yeah. Id hate to disrupt our solid current defending.

I don't think it could be any worse. I don't really care who the 3 are. Basically, I don't ever want to see Brosky or Coach on the field again. If we went to 3 at the back, we could ditch them.

Maybe Brosky would or Jacobson work at CB. It wouldn't be worse than Wingert. I don't even like Hernandez, honestly. He is usually just the least culpable of an awful group.

Put Calle at LM, Shelton at RM.

Mix, Poku, Villa, Nemec, Mullins.

I don't know. That would at least get our most capable players on the field.

I would even give Poku a run out at fullback before I sent the Bush League Bros back out.

I like this.

Either Mullins or Nemec up top with Villa. If Grabavoy is back in assuming Kreis will play him. I'd rather see Facey at RB because he has some pace and can play forward up the wing. Shelton has looked his best this year when he's coming off the bench so I see him coming in around the 60'
