Lots of games this month. Only 4 days after seeing Columbus we will be in LA. Short rest plus a long travel day and an Early Sunday kickoff.
Playing Crew Wednesday night. Player probably get Thursday off. Train Friday and travel early Saturday. Get another training session in Saturday when they get there?

Either way its a very rough turnover.
I can see them going for the win at Crew and trying to play this one to a draw at best.

Away @ LA Galaxy

ESPN, 970 AM, WQBU

I don't see the team coming back to NYC due to the short turnaround and early Sunday start. They go straight from Columbus to LA and train at an auxiliary site like USC or UCLA.

Come on Rox, you can just embezzle some of that Third Rail money. Nobody is going to complain about seeing the financial again.

I feel like there is a much larger story to what you just said. Mind explaining a bit?

On the Third Rail Facebook group, for two weeks or more a few people were DEMANDING the financial information on the group (i.e. how money was spent, how much there is left, future spending, etc.). The group really turned into a clusterfuck about wanting the financial. Eventually, they were finally released.

Me? I really enjoy LA. I've been itching to go back for a while now. 400+ on the flight makes it a 1k+ trip and that's just not a smart use of my money. Plus I would have to take a Monday off. I'm going before the year is out for sure though.

To the person that won the Cityzens contest, congratulations to you.

Don Garber is sitting in his office pondering this match and the future of MLS. He calls up Bruce Arena...
Don: Hey Bruce, how are you doing?
Bruce: Very well, looking forward to our match against NYCFC and being the first to six.
Don: So will Gerrard and Dos Santos be in the lineup on Sunday?
Bruce: Of course, we're winning with them and they've been a great addition to the team.
Don: Sounds good, good talking to you.

Pleased, Don Garber then calls up Jason Kreis...
Don: Hey Jason, how are things in New York City?
Jason: You know, my family and I are really enjoying the new experience and the fans have been really supportive of the club.
Don: Yeah, that's great, so what's the lineup looking like on Sunday versus LA?
Jason: We have Columbus on Wednesday, so that should be a factor. But I'll put out the best lineup I think it will take to win. We're trying to get to the playoffs. I'm still tinkering with the lineup, so players to consider.
Don: So will Lampard be in your lineup?
Jason: We'll see how his fitness is doing into Sunday and it will most likely be a game time decision.
Don: So will Lampard make an appearance on the field versus Gerrard?
Jason: What are you implying?
Don: I just think the fans want to see Lampard versus Gerrard.
Jason: Well Lampard hasn't been too great for us and this guy Poku is really an interesting character.
Don: Yeah, Poku has been great. And Pirlo too. Mix is also a USMNT player.
Jason: There's a lot of talent on this team, especially Ned Grabavoy, he won an MLS Cup.

I'm expecting Bruce Jennar to get the start. Cait will probably come out late in the match.

I'm happy Facey and Hern will be paired for this game. They'll be our damage-control. Still think we've got a shot in this game, even with the short rest and time away from home.
