According to Kreis he wanted to reward Calle and McNamara for their efforts the week before.

I don't personally attend, there's a few members of the media there who pass on the information to me and I share it.

The more I think about this (now that the rage has simmered down) I think there must be a much deeper explanation. Even in my most condescending and hateful moments I do not believe Kreis is unaware that Mix has talent beyond some of the players in last week's lineup.

I think there was a discipline issue. Especially with NYCFCfan also saying Mix out was a last minute switch. I wonder if there is some insubordination toward Kreis that he was trying to put down.

Total speculation. Just trying to make sense of it all.

Sorry guys but that lineup is pretty close to ideal. Love Poku but he could sub on 60 or 7oth minute for either Frank or Tmac. Great option to have off the bench.

Sounds like Frank may find himself in a starting role. I couldn't say I'd be disappointed if Frank comes off in the 60th for Poku, if he's not in the lineup already. Hopefully that means we're up 3 goals and dropping someone back, too.

This makes no sense. Why would Poku ever come on for a defense change? When Poku is on the field it's ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK, POWAR!!!

Because Poku consciously styles himself after Yaya Toure and wants to be a holding midfielder, even though he is amazing in the attacking role. It's one of those things you give a player as a psychological bone. Like Manuel Neuer, he wants to be a midfielder even though he is a world class goalie, so occasionally die manschaft let him take a PK or something.
