That Houston game was definitely a turning point. If I recall, it was the first time he moved Facey inside and put Wingert outside. We have, on the whole, been so much better defensively since that day other than the debacle in LA and the two crazy shoot outs at home against Orlando and Toronto.1. Equalizer against Dynamo at home on May 30. Felt like a turning point. Or Poku's goal in the 3-1 DC win where Pirlo was a god.
2. DC's equalizer at RFK which is the most depressing place on Earth. The moment I realized it was over.
3. More pace and skill up front. A midfield full of people who know how to take care of the ball and can defend as a pack to get it back. This will go a long way to taking the pressure off our defense.
