Doesn't the Statue of Liberty belong to NJ as well?

It's officially NY land that is surrounded by NJ, almost like a state border island.

As you can see from this kind of bad screen shot I took of google maps, all areas that are a part of Liberty island are a part of NY. It's also the same thing for half of Elise island.

You're thinking of Ellis Island, which, due to a court decision from a few years ago, is partly in NJ.
