I made it do and look the same thing as in dark mode mobile - which is that it moves notifications to the hamburger menu (this is how i always see the forum in dark mode mobile) - I could adjust the size later tonight and play around with it.

-edit- you know what you're right there's no notifications in the hamburger menu either, whoops. I'll get that updated later to add in the notifications.

Added notification and direct message icons with notification badges to the pull-out menu on mobile for light theme now

On that note, similar to how Lion asked last year, is there anything anyone dislikes UI/UX-wise that think could be improved? I'd love feedback to see how we can make the site better for everyone!

For example I was perusing the backend and I noticed we can actually customize the post reaction set, as well as add our own custom emoji sprites.

On home page, if possible, moving the Members online, and trending content, forum statistics to the bottom of the page, and instead of them up to down left to right, hopefully that'll make space for the forum list to take up more of the page and show more of the thread title.

For the punch list.
On mobile, I just had notifications show up on the hamburger menu as a small red 2 next to the inbox. When I clicked on the inbox I had no new messages.
So I clicked the bell and I had 2 generic notifications.
I didn’t think to take screen shots.

I definitely appreciate the updates and I like the new emote responses. I will say I’m not sure how to interpret some of them now lol. I guess the thinking means what you said was thought provoking? Lol Then clap in somewhere in between like and love?

I’m using “thinking” for everything for a while at least.
I figure mostly nobody will read and remember this and eventually it will freak people out.

idk i'm just playing around with the emojis available. I imagine clap more for like accomplishments or achievements. like if a player scores a goal or gets called up to national team, things of that nature. Thinking just as an alternative reaction in general. Cool should be pretty obvious

I’m not the one making decisions around how the forum should work or not work, but I think it’s probably best to not have a dislike button. The herd mentality can get a bit aggressive and push those with opposing views away.

That's fair enough, I think it was originally taken off for the same reason. I didn't think people would see things that quickly, was just testing stuff . It's gone before you even knew it

Not darker, just adjusting the colors to the official NYCFC branded colors - and to match a color scheme to the official website's heading etc. New York City FC

I’m not complaining, but the header is objectively darker.
