this mega friendly forum has a like button to enable users to show likes for posts.

but if you disagree with a post there is no dislike option

Is there any chance we can have a dislike option so you can disagree with a comment without appearing to create an argument.

There isn't a dislike button on Facebook either. Nor do you have to reply if you dislike what one of your friends say. The Like button is there to encourage constructive posts. By adding a Dislike button all that will do is discourage people from sharing their opinion if it's different from that of others.

People would probably abuse it, just dislike it because it was a certain poster.
