I think the pedigree of the hire is not really the issue. TBH, I have loved all the managers that have been brought in (even Kreis before everyone realize he was a fraud). If GVB had no relationship with CFG and was hired as our manager after what he did in Holland, all of you angry posters would have a raging erection.
The bigger organization issue is that we have been a revolving door instead of a stepping stone. I am fine with our club being a stepping stone for talent into Europe, but we also need some club stability and a manager to be able to make at least a 3 year commitment before moving on.
There is also a huge problem if CFG just jettisioned Dome (aka winningest manager in club history) so that they could groom a potential next in line Man City manager who could also potentially be only spending 1.5 years at NYC and leaving summer 2021.
I recognize some of the frustration could be from other sources but if the club had a clear stadium plan, wasnt burning bridges with it's STH, and was spending money on a LAFC or ATL level DP, this would be alot more palatable.
