Fingerprints To Speed Access Into Stadium

One thing I've not understood about the Yankees is why they won't enable scanning tickets through a mobile phone.

The Yankees don't want to invest in the portable printers that every ticket scanner has to have (and the associated infrastructure that goes with them) in order to allow mobile entry.

If you have been to a stadium that does allow mobile, it has to print out a ticket for every mobile ticket scanned so that you can show the usher at your section that your seats are there.

Not too sure about that. I've had them scan my iPhone at Citi Field entrance gates any number of times and they've never printed out a paper ticket for me.

ARE You serious ???? Are we living in some undemocratic Hitler -Castro - Mao- Puttin - Ayatollahs regime?
No way will I give my fingerprints or DNA . Even jokingly is scary. That is why my father emigrated to the land of the free, the good Ol' USA. I agree with The Toe , Lrsone , Keith Putnam.

I only go to home games and like my forum pal The Toe , I get to stadium 2-3 hours early, eat, listen to City Beats outside the YS when the y are warming up, window shop ,"sigthsee" what is not much to see " inside the stadium and sometimes get my face painted, and most importantly make time to get to the ladies room so I do not miss any golazos in real live time. is great to have replays but is such a feeling to say " I was there and saw it".

Interesting, they have (not at citi) when ive used it at sporting events, what prevents you from say walking into a section behind home plate? or do they just not give u a paper readout if its a 500 section? (as they don't check up there at yankee (400s) and citi (500s).
