Hello, just curious to see how you guys do a forum.our forum is full of moaners and sarcasm, instead of getting behind the team as they should.
Mcfc, is my life, my love, my everything.
Blue blood running right through me.
How does this compare to NYCFC?
Do you guys have the same passion for your team? I see the match day fans are very good and atmosphere looks great, but how much does your team mean to you?

Hard to say. I guess if my house was on fire and I could only save one thing and it was a choice between my NYCFC gear and my wife ...

Once the 2015 season began a lot of the noise dissipated to a minor hum. We've only had to ban a small handful of people (non-spam) in the course of our existance so I think we've done a good job mitigating a lot of it.

Haha, have u ever been on blue moon forum, or should I say blue moan!
I feel there is a little interest growing with your club from over here. Maybe it's because of the players your bringing in, or maybe we're just getting curious. What's your take on MCFC? Do you have an affinity with us?

There's no hard data. Consensus estimate seems to be that a substntial minority, maybe a plurality of NYC fans have some affinity fr MCFC. Others root for different EPL teams, with allegiances that usually pre-date NYCFC's existence. And a good number don't follow the PL. Some only follow MLS, others more closely follow Italian or Spanish leagues, while yet others follow Latin American leagues, usually due to personal family history. Definitely a mix, and most assume that the ratio of folks with some interest in MCFC will grow over time.
There is an "Other Football" section in the forums, and if you just scan the thread topics you'll get a sense of what people are interestd in. http://nycfcforums.com/index.php?forums/other-football.16/

Welcome!

I'm pretty indifferent to Manchester City and British teams in general. But I've been a big fan of Pellegrini since his Villarreal days.

I think there are more City fans than I expected Amongst our supporters. Most American premier league fans tend to support the 4 giants, with the majority of that loyalty going to Man U and Aresenal. But Nycfc is creating new fans of the sport in general and the connection with City is definitely breeding City fans. I'm Spurs myself, but a huge fan of Vincent Kompany. That dude is just top notch. Welcome to the forum!
