Next match is in 2 weeks time. Another 2pm Saturday kickoff.
We'll take on San Jose Earthquakes at home.

Broadcast - 04/01 Saturday 2pm

Could be an interesting lineup if anyone gets rested from international duty
Kinda hoping with all of the abuse Chanot and Ring suffered today that they'll be too "injured" for national team duty. Whether that's real or them wanting to rest/recover, I don't care. Have NYCFC tell their federations that they require therapy from our staff.

Wanna see Lewis come in for Wallace at 70. Wanna see Okoli come in for White if we're chasing a goal. Wouldn't mind Ugo for Mata from the start actually. The way we're playing we should be putting teams to the sword by the time the ref blows for half time. We need to get vicious.

Yeah, Wallace was done at 70 and he should have been yanked immediately for fresh legs not named Tommy. We didn't even use our third sub, leaving our one true CF on the bench with 4 in the back. Lewis also didn't look comfortable on the right side. All in all, the substitutions left a lot of questions with the selections and timing.... too many tired legs at the end of the game not to have used the third.

Let me go ahead and be the bad guy again on the crowd front:

I am not going the next time the weather is like either of the last two weeks unless it's an absolutely huge game or some other odd circumstance. San Jose in April doesn't meet that threshold.

As per whomever's suggestion somewhere on this board, I got some nice warm HeatTech thermals, had on my Columbia insulated boots, and had about 6 layers. While not quite as toasty as last week when I used points on a Delta upgrade I was at least able to survive. Warmed up at halftime in the store behind 221 (approx) which helped greatly.

So hey, no more complaints!

(Oops, sorry, forgot where I was for a moment.)

There's no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing ;)
Nah. I wore the same thing as last week, and this week was just damn colder. Trust me, I'm no one's tough guy when it comes to cold. I always use the long undies when it's below 50. Toss on the Marmot down jacket that is like -10 rated and waterproof, you expect to be okay. But it was the miz today.

Today was miserable. We've had freezing. We've had rain. But this was the first time we had freezing rain. Probably the worst weather we've had.

The key is covering your legs with a blanket. As cold as it was, it was the warmest I've been during a "cold" match yesterday. And the beer stays cold, but the fries in your chicken bucket are frozen after like 10 minutes, so there's a trade off. Looking forward to wearing jeans and a sweatshirt to this one, but I won't hold my breath quite yet.

Seriously, thank you. Was only annoyed at the cold rather than utterly miserable.
#Uniqlo should really think about becoming a sponsor of northern climate teams. Their heattech is ridiculously successful at staving off the cold. And I'd be more than happy to be their marketing ambassador!

Just as long as they don't make the socks. Everything I get from Uniqlo is great, but the socks just seem to wear out fast.
