Home - 05/03 Seattle

Mix will score a hat trick. Mix will score a hat trick. Mix will score a hat trick. If I say it long enough, its bound to eventually happen.

It kind of fun to go into this game with no expectations of points. Playing the crap teams we have for the past four or five games, and being disappointed, has sucked. This game however, is an expected loss. If we tie, I will be happy, if we pull out an unexpected win...? Dare I dream? This is the kind of third act drama that legendary games and players are made from.

Let's go Blue!

Agree!

I'd be happy even with good effort and a 1-goal loss. Just keep it exciting and give us something to cheer about. Of course, I'd love a point, or dare I say more, but it has been said that the secret to happiness is ... low expectations.

The difference being Seattle has guys that know what to do in the attacking third of the field and we don't. That second Martins goal was a beauty and has a good chance of being the GOTW.

I'm torn between wanting to feel bitter over another game wasted, and accepting that it was a tough game against a very strong opponent, where we actually showed some positive signs.

I remain convinced that it's far too early for a brand new team to be performing at its peak capacity, but man, I really want to see an improved result soon.
