Email from team rep Molly Hartman says KO is at 7:50 and doors open 6:20

Legends opens at 6:00 PM. I guess they're trying something new. (Also, there's a speaker series event with CFG CEO Ferran Soriano). The NYCFC.com/matchday page still says 6:00 PM and 7:30 PM kickoff.

I would not be surprised if Molly is right about the 7:50 but wrong about 6:20 and if doors open at 6pm. It's a fair certainty that kickoff is not 7:30. Any time from 7:35 to 7:50 is believable.

And only a fucking yellow card. Allen Chapman has a place in referee hell reserved for him.
So I couldn't remember when I was watching it live whether or not Fuenmayor received a card at all for this.

Now, checking the timeline, I'm still not certain, but perhaps the timeline is wrong.

11' Stoppage in match due to Yangel Herrera injury
14' Stoppage over
14' Substitution: Tommy McNamara on for Yangel Herrera (BARF)
16' Fuenmayor shown yellow card
16' David Villa shot attempt saved

Why was the yellow so much later? Or is there just a lag in when it was announced?

This is getting like Vieira and OGC Nice.

I think it was just delayed. It took a while for YH to be treated then carried off, and I think Chapman, the official scorekeeper, or both, waited to see if VAR would suggest a review that never came.

1. Herrera needed to be stretchered off the field.

2. Chapman did video review the incident and gave him a yellow card. So bullshit.

I understand he needed to be stretchered off, but Tommy didn't sub on until he was stretchered off, and the timeline shows the card was issued 2 minutes after Tommy came on.

I hope Chanot is back in the starting XI for this game. I don’t think Ibeagha has been bad, but I think Chanot is a better CB

if PVdoes a 3-5-2 again and leaves chanot out....then conspiracy theory in me thinks he trying to get fired...Nice doesnt pay anything and signs with them more freely

Accuweather has 50% chance thunderstorms at 7pm, showers at 9-10pm. Another beautiful NYCFC game day.

ugh ...rain is one thing...but thunderstorms? potential delay and stuff and then game ends like at 11PM
