Ugh, I do not wanna drive 275 miles to see TMac walking and pointing fingers in midfield.

Scrap the 3-5-2, put Chanot back in the Starting XI, move Ring back in the midfield, and give me that front 3 I have been waiting all season to see...Shradi, Villa and Medina

If PV doesn't want to put a healthy Chanot back into the starting XI, and would rather keep Ring as CB so that our "defensive" midfield consists of Tubby and Ofori, two players incapable and disinclined to break up opposing plays, he's truly a stubborn idiot and it would be a blessing if Nice takes him out of our hands. Chanot as CB and Ring as 6 have always been 2/3 of our spine.

Anything other than a 4-3-3 with Ofori in for Herrera and Shradi-Villa-Medina, we're phone banking: https://www.ogcnice.com/en/the-club/contacts
I’d be content with Sands getting a runout as Dmid.

And if TMac starts, the chant from the supporters group should be: “please take the red eye to Nice, Please take the red eye, please please please.”

Okay, sorry, I have one more important question...parking? What’s the cheapest option, I don’t mind the walk. (I might regret that decision if it’s raining)

One change Patrick Vieira's toyed with over the past month in his efforts to ensure that Villa does indeed stay healthy is playing some 3-5-2. The idea is for Villa to float off the frontline and let Jo Inge Berget get into the physical battles with defenders that are so draining. It's a good long-term play, but it's been a bad short one: Berget is doing his best Adam Nemec impersonation with just one goal in nearly 800 minutes.

It's tough to justify putting him out there on the road, and not at all justifiable at home. My guess is it's back to the 4-3-3, and a focus on splitting Orlando City's central midfielders away from the ball:

Even Matt Doyle says back to the 4-3-3. Be smart Patrick!

There's an open air place under the highway that multiple people have recommended here. I never used it and cannot direct you or give other particulars. Hopefully someone else can step up.

Failing that, before I switched my seats to Delta and got parking included, I always used Park Whiz. You can pre-reserve parking at a fixed rate at multiple nearby locations:

I usually park in a garage on Concourse Village West, which is like a ten minute (or less) walk to the stadium, and it usually costs me like $18 using SpotHero.

For our first season I parked on the Manhattan side a few times at a lot which is right under the Macombs Dam Bridge, and it was very cheap with a similar walk time, but felt a smidge sketchy.

As long as it is good the week following for Atlanta. I am bringing 50 people from my hometown to the game.
Do you need 2 free tickets? If so, pm me.

215, row 1, seats 1-2. They’ll go to waste or just get scanned otherwise. All I care about is them getting scanned by someone.

If you try playing Tommy like Yangel, you're gonna have a bad time.

I say this having not seen 1 second of the Houston match. I am 99% sure this is the first competitive match we’ve ever played that I wasn’t able to watch live.

For future reference, hotspot VPN has gotten really slow all around, and it seems not to work at all with ESPN+.

I think I misunderstood Gotham Gator Gotham Gator , and he is bringing folks next week.

In any event, if you haven’t gotten tickets, you’re welcome to my 215 seats. I personally think they are among the best tactical view available.

Thanks. Yes, I am bringing next week.

I've been trying to get a hall pass for this one, but... Saturday night. At least I sold my 3 in S. 205.

Your seats look great - would love to try them at some point.

The place that people have talked about under the highway is called Ali's Lot. It is $25. You walk out the back of the lot and go up some stairs into the train station and then across and on to the Stadium.

This post shows the location. It's a little tricky to get to.

I like the idea of a 3 man back line against Orlando, but I don't like it if Ring is one of the three. I think we need him in midfield with Herrera out. If you put Ring in the back, that means you need Tommy or Kwame or James, and the midfield isn't as strong.

I guess what it comes down to is whether you keep Sweat in the Starting XI or Tommy. I guess I would prefer Tommy, but if you have to have a weaker player on the field, I'd rather it be at left back than center mid.
The big draw of the 352 for me is that we can keep the same basic midfield trio shape. I can understand that Ring at CB can allow us to morph between a 433 and 352 without using a sub, but I think it makes more sense to just adjust at halftime or later in the game if needed or move Chanot up to CDM.

Thank you, but I bought tickets a couple of days ago

Really Hoping for

Shradi---------------Villa---------------Medina
--------------Maxi
------------------------------Ofori
--------------------Ring
Sweat--------------------------------Tinner
----------Callens------Chanot
--------------------SJ

This seems to be our most potent lineup on paper, and almost certainly our most talented. I wouldn't mind watching SAS come on for Tinnerholm or Medina if we're up by a few goals late. Berget for Villa if we're up, Ofori if we're down. There's enough will to go forward with this group that Ring and Ofori can hang back for the most part, splitting wide if OCSC counters. If I see Tommy on the field at any point, I'll just leave.

Does anyone think we should rest any players for this game given the upcoming games?
No. Play the best team available each match and if we have a sizable lead take guys off for rest.
