woo rally towels ... finally a door giveaway that we can use!

not even gonna comment on TFC injuries. no matter what team is fielded against us, we just have to win. plain and simple. we will have our best XI (except for maybe heber coming on as a sub). That's all that matters. whether TFC brings their best XI to start or doesn't, we just have to win.

A few responses.

There is lots of parking at Citi Field - lots. Big open expanses of asphalt next to the venue (some of which are just begging for a soccer stadium to be built upon them, but that's another issue). There is also parking over next to and under the expressway that is usually cheaper. It's a great set up for tailgating.

Parking at Citi Field was $25 for the US Open, but more for a recent Mets game. These were for spaces near the stadium. Spots by the expressway were cheaper.

Driving from Westchester is usually not too bad, with one caveat. There has been some construction on the Whitestone that closes a lane. If this is happening on Wednesday night, it can add 20-30 minutes to the travel time.

Also in general traffic from Manhattan to Citi Field at 5PM....if car taken would I get there on time

what part of Manhattan and which bridge/tunnel? That makes a big difference.

Parking is $25.

Not that it matters, but that’s a pretty outdated map of JFK. Terminal 3 doesn’t even exist anymore.

Explaining how LGA has to go through this in order for the redevelopment to happen is kind of like trying to explain why we’re playing at Citi Field on Wednesday in the “what part of this do you not get?” kind of way.

I know this was mentioned before about shake shack being closed on wednesday... is there a list somewhere of what will be open?

Better, in that you don't have to enter LaGuardia, which currently is a house of horrors.
You probably meant roller coaster because that’s what the roadways have become.... up/down & zigzagging in/out.

I flew out of LGA two weeks ago and it was a breeze. No issues at all with the transport in/out, and Delta’s terminals are quite nice and sufficient with good food options.

Anyone know what the traffic is like from Westchester to Citi for a 530pm doors open arrival? Waze reports that it’s not so bad from upper Westchester at that time (under 50 minutes) but that looks optimistic.

I’m planning 80 minutes from Bedford Hilla

Also - getting out of the Citi Field parking lot 2 seasons was the worst post game experience I’ve ever had
