Yes. Jax is 8:1 gators to dawgs as a city but the crowd is 1:1 and the tailgate is close.
Having lived in Jacksonville for two years, I can tell you that there are a ton of Georgia alumni in that city. No way it is 8:1.

And you are right that it doesn't matter anyway. I've been to those games a bunch of times, and the crowd is always 50-50 - divided lengthwise with Georgia on one side and Florida on the other.

It's like saying Oklahoma-Texas is favored toward Texas because it is in Dallas. Nope. Crowd is 50-50. Oklahoma (and Georgia) would never stand for something that is tilted toward the opponent every single year.

After TFC playing 120 Saturday we have no excuses.

I agree with this 100%.

If we lose this game, it's because we simply didn't want it enough. player for player, I think we have the edge in talent and quality. They have tired legs and some banged up players. We're essentially at full strength. We play our game. We don't make mistakes. We win those duels and press that tired TFC backline/midfield, and we'll win this game no sweat (ben too!)

We really do need a walk out song or pre game chant. When we have about own place, the uniqueness of our situation hopefully means we adopt Frank Sinatra’s New York, New York

kinda difficult to do when all games have the MLS music when the players walk out prior to the anthem.

Only other available time is right after the anthem when the coin toss is going on and team photos.

Counter point is that Liverpool sing YNWA before a Champions League March and then they still play the theme for UCL

counter counter point... liverpool fans are a hell of a lot more coordinated and passionate as a whole than NYCFC fans. really don't see what you're proposing happening on short notice.

Portland and Seattle fans also have very loud chants that are done over the MLS intro music.

Anyone know what the traffic is like from Westchester to Citi for a 530pm doors open arrival? Waze reports that it’s not so bad from upper Westchester at that time (under 50 minutes) but that looks optimistic.
