I was able to get to an NYCFC training today and hear from Tommy McNamara about getting over the loss, moving forward and scoring that wonder-goal, PLUS hear from Patrick Vieira about Saturday's matchup against the Colorado Rapids.

That was a very interesting question from Robert Abramowitz regarding the possibility of Villa and Pirlo staying in San Jose until the team joins them next week for the away match against the Quakes on Friday, August 5th. They would both have to fly to/from CA 4 times in about 10 days otherwise. It's a thought that had never crossed my mind and it seemed like it was new to PV as well. I wonder if PV will consider making those arrangements and if Villa/Pirlo would agree -- they would have to be away from their families for a few extra days as a result.

A genius idea, as it would provide an even greater chance for MIX TO BE IN THE STARTING 11!

That would make sense if the SJ game were mid week, maybe, but they can make those flights, no problem. I've had work that takes me out there from time to time, and there is no question that if the wait is more than a day or two, you come back.

Plus, Coach V likes to keep the team together.

Plus, this would mean they miss out on training. I don't see it.
