Great is a bit of a stretch but I'm happy he's scoring and I'm happy we're back on top
It might depend a lot on whether Leeds come up or not. I love the guy, but right now I think he's at a good level. I can't imagine Leeds shelling out if they make it back to the Premier League, based on current levels of performance. I'm still hoping he kicks on and that he's a late bloomer due to his slightly unconventional path to professional football.Harrison's loan from City to Leeds ends at the end of the year. Will Leeds ask to extend the free loan? Will Leeds buy? Let's see what happens next on Jack Harrison: City to City Season 3
I haven't seen him play, but based on what I've heard (from you and others) I agree that he should stay in the Championship another year or two. He needs time to build confidence and skill, and seems to finally be getting some more consistent playing time for Leeds. Should they get promoted I think he'd be better off getting time at another Championship level club.It might depend a lot on whether Leeds come up or not. He’s scored in the mid 6’s and above on WhoScored so not turning in shabby performances, and it does seem that as of late Leeds has turned to him to start games, so maybe he has settled in enough to the English game to be able to step up?!? It’s not as if he’s getting 3’s and 4’s each match, and there is a more physical presence to the championship, than Premiership, which may not be what he needs to truly grow. My fear for him is that another year in the championship, if not on a team that appears to be an automatic promotion candidate, could get him stuck there because the players around him and/or the teams style isn’t suited to let him develop and shine. He’s fortunate to be on Leeds where the style matches his wheelhouse of abilities. If they go up, I hope they take him with them.I haven't seen him play, but based on what I've heard (from you and others) I agree that he should stay in the Championship another year or two. Harrison with the only goal / game winner.Jack Harrison in the starting lineup in Leeds vs Sheffield Wednesday, another clash between promotion contenders. It's on ESPN+ at 12:30!
Playing with more confidence now. He got a lucky break with an injury that allowed him in, but he's improved a ton. Really chuffed for him.Harrison with the only goal / game winner.
He’s an every match player on a side that’s gonna get promoted.
What’s amazing is he’s gotten 33 appearances this year for Leeds and has made a real impact with them, and they’re almost definitely gonna promote. Last year with Middlesbrough, he got maybe 8 appearances and not only didn’t they go up, but they’re desperate and on the outside looking in to snag the last playoff spot this season. Serves them right.Leeds should really make him a permanent squad addition. From Jack's POV it would be hard to find a better manager to develop with than Bielsa.
If he has the opportunity to play in the Prem he should probably take it. Leeds def can't be trusted to get promoted lol.
