Is there a difference between a take-on and a dribble? Are they synonyms?
they are the same thing for opta's purposes.
I was guessing it's a dribble where you are challenged. If you dribble 10 yards and pass without meeting a defender, is that a take-on?
ETA: FBRef defines take-ons as "attempts to take on defenders while dribbling."

Dribbling into space is often called a “carry”. Yes, Keaton is good at those too.

That sounds like a great idea! Maybe we can take it one step further and create an entire songbook of chants that we can use for different occasions. That way, the chants can constantly be evolving and never get old.
