I know I had that conversation with my dad and was one of the confirming there was not going to be a game at Citifield. But at this point and it being this close I have to assume it’s going forward. I know the Ushers had signed up and the Steward said it would be cancelled but there is no way they move it with this little warning.

Edit: my dad just messaged me to say that he checked with friends and they are saying the game is definitely cancelled and it’s not being played at Citifield. I may be the worst source ever. I don’t know what to think anymore but the Ushers believe there won’t be a game.

I am wondering whether or not Columbus advances in Leagues Cup is having something to do with the wait -- are they waiting until they know when and where the game is rescheduled to?

I mean they moved the date back one day from 19 to 20, so it's within the 3 day allotted period, so I can see why it's not a problem for them.

sure but they have to start changing the pitch on prior weekend for the wednesday and saturday game rather than middle of week. i guess im always expecting yankee staff to drag their feet when it comes to nycfc related things

So I used 2 of my blue cards on this game for my niece and her husband. They have a 2-year old and a 3 month old. I’m sure they have a sitter for Saturday and I doubt they can make the midweek makeup.

I am blown away how good the attendance is for this team considering how frequently the fans get jerked around on scheduling and stadium-related issues. I know this is a thing of the past in a couple years, but the idea that we get no less than 18,000 fans a game is borderline miraculous.

Really feels like when this stuff is in the past, interest in this team is going to skyrocket.
