Yes, it wasn’t injury, I believe they had a plan as to when he would approximately be pulled. There were quick discussions about it during the second half and ultimately Cushing said something like, let’s do it now. I am not sure if it was a Girona request or just the plan to give him the curtain call or both.

Agreed, although I was expecting the curtain call at the 87th minute, not the 60th. Fine either way though.
