Since Gerrard is a DP I don't think it's cheating if they pay for his house. Everything above the DP level doesn't count, regardless of whether it is in-kind or cash.

UPDATED: Mix still at full salary because we don't know how much was used to buy down his salary. Leaves us at an reasonable number over the cap at $682k we began the season with $800k then made some trades to acquire and traded away some allocation so I would assume we probably are roughly $100k below the cap.

I think you can cut 500k off Mix, that's the number I've heard that NYC used of allocation for him. We can now also remove Williams off of there. From a cap perspective we can drop the bottom 8 as off -budget. Unfortunately this would probably only apply to players like Kwame, Hopefully next year we can include George John.
