New Swag

How do you guys feel about wearing autographed gear?

I personally think once it's autographed it goes away somewhere safe, but I've seen people rocking jerseys and signed hats at the stadium.
I agree with you, I see no point wearing something once it's signed. Too much of a risk to smudge/smear/destroy an autograph via sweat, BBQ sauce, rain, etc. What's the point in having an autograph if it's just going to be ruined or washed away.

Once its signed (and clean, I washed the jersey Poku gave me and signed because he wore it and it was sweaty and messed like shit), it stays on a hanger or behind a piece of glass forever.

I got frustrated with the lack of fitted hats and had these made up. Not perfect, but they'll do.

Bought the zephyr hats blank online and bright them to a local embroidery shop.

Zephyr hats are a notch below New Era, but still excellent quality.

Maybe a hat; never a shirt.

I have a Steve Spurrier autographed 1996 National Championship hat that I bring out for special occasions only, but I do bring it out.

Yeah I feel like hats aren't on the same level as jerseys, I have an autographed one framed already, or scarves (I still can't figure out what to do with that). But I would feel strange wearing it.

I don't give a shit. I wear clothes. I have a UDA Shawn Kemp pro cut (REAL pro cut. Not that NBA store nonsense.) jersey and I've worn it several times. I even lost the UDA hologram sticker from wearing it. LMAO! It's all just stuff. Stuff that somebody wrote on.

It depends on the caliber of the person who signed. If my wife was successful in needling me with a Grabavog autograph. I would wear because who cares? If it were Pirlo, I would put it away!

Who cares? You should. Don't sully yourself with that sort of garbage.

I have a Poku!!! and Harrison autographed jersey- I wear either. Leaning more towards Harrison since whenever I've worn the hypnokit we've won - so you're welcome. I guess since the players are pretty accessible and I don't care if the jersey gets lost or damaged - I don't mind.

Never to be worn once signed.

Just as a comment on the Nike jerseys, I'm watching the Man City opening day match and I think the new Nike jerseys look fantastic. Never really liked all the Nike jersey renderings I've seen here and didn't much like the USMNT ones, but the Man City ones look great "in person." Sky blue with a navy-purplish sleeve and shoulders, a stripe down the side, and some collar stuff going on. Simple but good.

I find this amusing, because we are the complete inverse. Unlike you I never went along with all the Nike kit hate here and basically all over the web. I thought, for example, that the US kit looked clean and classic.
But the exception for me is the MC kits. They look like pajamas.

PS: To be clear, I'm not being trying to be argumentative. This is an opinion about which style preferences can differ.

I agree. It really depends what colors you put on that design that can make or break the kit. Good: Primary kit. Bad: Secondary kit.

Not a problem. But the real question for me here is "what's your beef with pajamas?"

Completely agree. Their secondary kit is definitely oddly colored. Not my thing at all. Don't like the keeper kit much either, for that matter. And while I like the new Man City kit it occurs to me that an entire league with the same kit but just different colors might just be too weird.
