why can't we get competent designs like this? I'd wear the heck out of this

this is actually a "nycfc" shirt. all the designs they have of other latin american and even euro teams dont use the logo or the official name. they use the colors and shirt design and call the shirts by the nickname of the team. for us its the "pigeon" Toronto is "the leaf" Portland timbers is "the axe". they do this to reduce copyright issues.

The sizes look super small. Chest width of an XXL is <23 inches, which would be a large at best in a regular jersey.

I got it today. It fit well. It was actually a bit looser than my medium authentic nycfc home Jersey from last year. In terms of length it’s about the same.
Happy with my purchase

I think the whole collection is supposed to be 90’s retro but it just doesn’t make sense for euro 2020 city collection to have an American city

That was last year’s policy. Hoping adidas/MLS realized that only short sleeve was a bad idea and they bring back long sleeve this year.

Regarding lack of sponsors, maybe they're going the BuLi/PL/Champions League method of charging an extra $4-5 for official league/cup patches on kits?
